Custom Cabinetry & Storage

Every cabinet is built to suit the room it is going into: overhead cabinets, broom and ironing cabinets, pull-out washing hampers and drawer banks.

By the time most people call us, storage has run out and there is nowhere to fold. The cabinetry is designed around what the room actually has to hold.

Benchtops, Laundry Tub & Tapware

A benchtop you can fold clothes on or set a laundry basket down on makes the room far more usable. It is one of the first things people ask for.

The laundry tub and tapware are chosen to match the bench and cabinetry, so the room reads as one finished space rather than parts bolted togethe

Appliance & Washer/Dryer Integration

Some laundries work best with the washer and dryer side by side, others need them stacked or tucked beneath the benchtop. We design around your machines and how you use them.

Plumbing, Electrical & Finishing Coordination

Once the cabinetry is ready to install, the plumbing and electrical work is scheduled around it. You do not need to organise separate trades yourself, we coordinate the lot through to the finished room.

Action Kitchens is highly recommended. Nick, Dan and Jess were easy to work with; they listened to my needs; they came up with clever design ideas; they solved installation problems; they paid attention to detail; they managed all the contractors carefully; and they were always available to monitor and respond to questions or issues if required. Our new kitchen was completed a few months ago by Action Kitchen and we are amazed by the quality and attention to detail. Our first meeting with Nick was so reassuring we felt comfortable and confident we were making the right decision. The day to day schedule provided of what trades were coming on what days was such a great help, if there was any change to this we were informed immediately. All trades on our job were so friendly and respectful, it was a pleasure having them in our home. The construction of the cabinetry by the team in the workshop is perfect, installation is faultless as is the work by all the trades who were used on our kitchen. Dan is a 5 star project manager, he oversaw our job every step of the way, promptly answering any questions from us and giving us complete peace of mind.
A big thank you Nick and the entire Action Kitchen team, the functionality and quality of our new kitchen has exceeded all our expectations and we definitely recommend you to anyone thinking of a new kitchen.

We cannot rate Action Kitchens highly enough. Every step of the process was easy and enjoyable. From our initial meeting with Nick, who went out of his way to meet at a time that suited us, to the last day when Patrick came to do the final touches it was a seamless process with an extremely professional crew. From Jessica and Nick's design to Dan's AMAZING project management, we could not have been happier. A big shout out to the guys (and Olivia) who did the bulk of the onsite work, as well as the electrician (Ben) and plumber (Sam). Our kitchen looks incredible, and we are extremely happy with it.

We had a fantastic experience with Action Kitchens. They took care of absolutely everything — from the initial demolition, design, and colour selections, to creating a kitchen layout that perfectly suited our needs, including the addition of a butler’s pantry.

What really stood out was how seamlessly they managed the entire process, including organising and coordinating all the contractors. The scheduling was handled so well — it gave us real peace of mind knowing exactly who was coming and when.

The entire project was stress-free, and the end result is a beautiful, functional kitchen that we absolutely love. We can’t recommend Action Kitchens highly enough. Thank you, Dan and Nick!

After our long-time cabinetmaker shut his business for a life change, we found Action Kitchens through an online search—only to discover after contacting them that our now-off-the-tools cabinetmaker actually did his apprenticeship there! That was a great sign, and meeting Nick (possibly Australia’s busiest business owner) sealed the deal. The initial consult went great, and we signed on.

From start to finish, the entire team was excellent. Even those behind the scenes in the workshop deserve credit—their craftsmanship showed the moment everything arrived on site. The installation team was top-notch, and a big shoutout to Dan, whose urgency, experience, and attention to detail took the project well beyond expectations. (No, really.)

Sure, there were hiccups—as you get with any reno involving multiple trades—but everything was handled professionally, with constant communication. We never once felt it was out of control.

We supplied our own appliances, sink, etc., and Action worked with that seamlessly. It honestly felt like they’d chosen the items themselves, the fit and finish was that good.

The kitchen was completed in Spring 2024, and now—mid-2025—it still looks and functions like new. Every drawer, door, and surface is still perfect, and we get compliments not just from guests, but every time we walk into the room. Watching them crane in a giant slab of granite? Yeah that was unreal.

There are cabinetmakers out there more interested in shiny new utes and flashy showrooms—but if you want your project done properly, with quality materials, great communication, and true workmanship, hire Action. We only wish we had more work for them, if that happens we'll be coming straight back.
